the Beats Studio Pro is better than the AirPods Max but don’t buy

Apple has just released the Beats Studio Pro, which could have been better, so in this article, we will look at what they did right and what is wrong. and explain why you shouldn’t buy

if you have followed the Beats brand since Apple purchased it in 2014, you would have noticed that Apple doesn’t care about Beats and uses them to build its products while leaving Beats to fulfill slots they haven’t filled yet and because Apple will not release headphones under $500, the ones of us that wanted that the Apple software connectivity Magic without having to sell our iPhone to get it (which would make the headphones useless)went to the cheaper but, the more reasonably priced Beats but in this release, Apple has not included the H1 or H2 chips. They haven’t included any of their specialized chips, which made Beats appealing in the first place, and at $350, these headphones or trying to rival the Sony wf-1000xm4s and the Bose QuietComfort 700 headphones. These being a few of the best headphones on the market.

hardware and Technology

now that we understand that, off the bat, they do not seem to have a clear purpose and that, for their price, you can buy a few of the best headphones in the market, we would start looking at what they have to offer and remember to take everything with that in mind

design

At first glance, the design is nice. The exterior is plastic which makes it very light. It is foldable, making it easy to travel, and as a bonus, it has a usable traveling case. But the shallow ear cups can cause fatigue. And there is no head detection which means it drains battery life when you take them off

the sound experience

the sound quality is quite good for the price. It has a strong base with not-so-great meds. And overall, the way I will describe them is fun. They’re fine for watching movies listening to podcasts, or phone calls. Just know that these aren’t for you if you are after a more flat EQ. the transparency mode, compared to the AirPods Max could have been better, but its still excellent  the noise cancellation it’s pretty mediocre compared to the competition, but noise canceling has never been beats Strongside

software and connectivity

as we talked about, these headphones don’t have the traditional Apple chips, and what this means is that the seamless transferring of the headphones from one device to the other cannot happen anymore. Also, another downside is that these appear in find my, but only show up at last place it was connected, not where it currently is also, it technically has a targetable EQ, but only when it’s plugged in via the USB-C.And it will appear on all your Chromebooks once connected to one and in Apple settings 

conclusion

After a deeper look at all they offer, these headphones don’t have a clear selling point. They don’t come close to the flagship headphones they are up against, and they don’t have an advantage from the Apple software connectivity that traditionally gave them an advantage.Though they are good headphones for the casual music fan who wants to go to the gym, watch a movie, or listen to music, they have a long battery life of 40 hours, making them excellent for this. However, for $350, I still recommend Sony wh1000xm4s because, for the same price, you can get much better features. and You’re not losing on the software connectivity because there’s barely any.

Should you buy

no, I do not recommend these headphones for $350. They’re worth around $200, and even if you manage to get them for this amount, try to get other headphones for this amount, as they will give you a lot more functionality
