When push comes to shove, not all phone batteries or equipped for our long days, and those that are, we might not know what stuff we need to get the most out of them, so in this article, we will explain everything you need to know about your phone’s battery, what stuff you need to get the most out of it and what Chargers and power banks our best for that.
Phone charging
We measure a phone’s battery using milliamp hours and Watts. The more mah you have, the larger its capacity and the more hours it lasts. The more watts you have, the faster your battery charges, but the faster your phone charges, the more heat builds up, deteriorating your battery faster. But there is a sweet point, and it is around 60 watts.
Ensure you know your phone batteries’ mah and watts. Changes to your setup will depend on this.
The wall charger
When you charge your phone, you use a wall charger.
. (That little box you plug into the wall)
And when using it to charge your phone, ensure it is at least three Watts above your phone’s Max input while charging with a cable, and 7 Watts when wireless charging. because when you charge, you lose energy, and while wireless charging, more energy is lost
for example, a phone that charges at 20 watts will want a power brick with 23 Watts (going over will not ruin your battery)
we recommend the Foldable Anker(Nano 3) 30W for most devices because of its reliability and small size
and the foldable Anker 715 USB-C 65 Watts for more powerful devices and for mostly the same reasons
and when using a multi-port wall charger
Ensure it has enough power in each port because when a company claims their power brick is 100 Watts, it’s not 100 in each port or 100 split between the parts. In actuality, each port has a different output combining to 100. It can also change by the number of ports occupied; you must check the manufacturer to know precisely.
But we do recommend the UGREEN Foldable 100W. Because of its compactness, smart design and it’s ability to use all four ports at once with reasonable speeds
The cable
A few people know this, but not all cables or born the same, and when choosing one, make sure it supports your desired speed of charge.
And Never use a cable that is not your own, as people can use cables to take over your phone and steal money from you.
We recommend the soopll 100 w cable because of its ability to show you your charging speed while charging, its premium design ,and its ability to charge at 100 Watts.
Portable chargers
In the same way, we measure batteries by mah and wattage; we measure portable chargers because they’re no more than a battery outside your phone. So when choosing one, identify your purpose.
If it’s to keep it charged up during a long day of work, then 10,000 million hours 20 watts would be enough. And In most cases, this will give you one whole extra charge.
And we recommend the Anker 523 Portable Charger. with 10,000 mah and 20-watt charging one USB-C port and one USB-A port
A small one is the best choice for an emergency power bank. Around 5,000 mah will do the trick. It will charge up to 100%, but because it needs to be compact, it will generally charge your phone slowly, but it is easy to carry around.
And we recommend the Auskang Ultra Thin Portable Power Charger and with 5,000 mah and a built-in USB-c cable built in. It is the perfect choice for an emergency power bank, allowing you to take it everywhere, just in case.
For longer trips or if you have multiple devices that need charging simultaneously, you would want something around 30,000 mAh and 90 Watts, allowing you to charge your entire setup, laptop, phone, earbuds, and Smartwatch simultaneously, and a few of them, even twice.
And we recommend the Anker powercore 747 with 25,600 and an 87 Watt output. allowing you to charge all your devices simultaneously or your phone five times to full capacity
Generally, I do not recommend power Banks with built-in wireless chargers. Because the purpose of a power bank is for efficient charging in a small package on the go and portable wireless chargers or bulkier for the same capacity,
but there is one significant exception: Magsafe battery packs. You can get mad-safe battery packs for any phone, not just iPhone as long that it has wireless charging. You will just have to obtain a specialised case with built-in magnets. What this does is it allows you to charge up your phone in your pocket if there is no cable whatsoever. Lowering the amount of hassle you need to charge your phone. You leave it in your pocket or purse and have it all day charging whenever you are, and we recommend one that has a minimum of 5,000 million powers and a minimum of five-watt output. This output is enough to maintain your battery percentage and even gain some.
