Frequently asked questions

Connections, imports, accounts, billing and data, answered in full.

Fourteen right now: three brokerages and eleven prop firms, all listed on the Brokers page. Thirteen of them auto-sync on a server schedule, so your trades come in even on days you never open Alltra. Rithmic's integration is built and waiting on activation. Every venue also takes CSV import and manual entry. One thing worth knowing: prop firm accounts clear through a broker, so the connect screen shows you the broker you're actually signing into.

You won't lose the days in between. Alltra remembers how far it read each account, and that mark doesn't move while the connection is down, so the next successful pull starts from the last fill it saw and brings in everything it missed. To reconnect, press the amber tile on that account's row in Trading Accounts, up in the top bar. If that doesn't fix it, the guide's troubleshooting section walks through what to check next.

Yes. Tradovate and TopstepX files are recognized automatically, and any other CSV you map column by column, up to 10 MB per file. It does have to be a CSV though. Excel and PDF statements won't work, so export as CSV from your broker first. And don't worry about uploading the same file twice; duplicates get caught by hashing.

Only before you commit it. Nothing touches your history while the file is still at the preview step, and you can pull a file out of the job any time up to that point. After the commit, there's no undo anywhere in the product. So take a minute on the preview. If your broker writes fees into the price column, or exports in the account's currency instead of the instrument's, you'll spot it right there, and it's much harder to unpick later.

Twenty-five, and it's a hard limit: the twenty-sixth gets refused whether you add it by hand or a sync discovers it. You can name a set of accounts as a group in the same drawer, though for now a group is only saved, the drawer can't reselect it yet. And tracking several doesn't mean staring at all of them at once. The account picker in the top bar scopes every page in the product together.

Yes. You don't need to connect anything. Make an account, enter trades by hand or import a CSV, and every page works the same. Demo Mode goes a step further and fills the whole product with sample data, so you can look around before adding anything of your own. Connect a broker whenever you feel like it.

Yes. Each sign-in gets its own session, so your desk and your phone can both stay open. Sign-out is in Settings under Profile. And if you change your password, every other session gets signed out, and we tell you exactly how many were closed.

The Tracker is your trading record: trades built from your fills, performance, the journal, what happened in the market. The Portfolio is your money record: what each firm cost you and what it paid out, eval fees, resets, payouts, subscriptions. They're two books on one account, and neither writes the other. A closed trade lands in the Tracker; the payout you get later is a Portfolio entry.

No, and that's on purpose. Connections sync your trades; they don't watch your bank or your firm's payout emails. A fee, a reset or a payout is something you log yourself, against the platform it belongs to. It takes five fields, and it keeps the ledger yours: nothing lands in your money record that you didn't put there.

No. Trading P&L comes from your fills and nothing else, so fees, resets and payouts never leak into your win rate or your equity curve. And inside the Portfolio, moving money is a transfer, not a cost. A withdrawal you banked never shows up as an expense against the month you earned it.

Not a native one yet. Alltra runs in the browser and is built to work at phone widths, so the same address is the app on every device. Nothing to install, nothing to keep updated. Sign in from your phone and you're looking at the same account.

Yours: whatever timezone you've saved in Settings under Preferences, not what your device clock happens to say. Daily P&L and the economic calendar both use it, so traveling doesn't quietly shuffle your trades onto different days.

Nothing. Alltra is free: no subscription, no trial counting down, no card to add, and nothing locked behind a paid tier. If that ever changes, we'll say so plainly and in advance, not drop a wall on a page you were already using.

Not in bulk yet, and better you know that now than later. The one export Alltra has today is a single day's report from the Tracker, as CSV. There's no full-history download, no trades export, and nothing on the Portfolio ledger. Hang on to the CSVs you imported; for now, they're the portable copy of your history.

No. Your broker's records are untouched, a connection can only read. Deleting removes Alltra's copy, and you should treat that as final: there's no restore for a deleted trade or journal entry anywhere in the product. Delete the wrong trade and the way back is typing it in again.

No. There's no code in Alltra that can place, change or cancel an order, and none that can move money. Connections read your fills and account history, and that's all they do. The connect step even refuses a credential outright if its permissions mention withdrawal, transfer or trading, rather than accepting it and promising to behave. Credentials are encrypted at rest, and where a broker offers OAuth, Tradovate does, you sign in on the broker's own page and we never see the password at all.

Yes, and it's worth being straight about. Intelligence runs on a third-party model, not one we host, so your question and the figures needed to answer it go to that provider. What it can reach is limited, though: every answer is built from the accounts you've ticked in the top bar, through the same permission checks as every other read, so a question can't pull in an account you're not already looking at.

Settings › Profile › Account Removal › Delete my account. It asks for your password and the word DELETE because there's no coming back: your sessions are revoked right away, and an erasure job then removes your executions, trades, journal and attachments outright. No soft-delete window. If you just want a break, Disable sits next to it and can be undone for 30 days.
